Official YouTube channel of the East Area Rapist / Golden State Killer case

 

Today’s article is about the recent launch of the Official YouTube channel of the East Area Rapist / Golden State Killer case. If you’ve read my blog consistently, then you know that this is one of the cases that I am passionate about. This unidentified California serial rapist and killer committed upwards of 100 home break-ins and burglaries, 50 rapes, and at least 12 murders between 1976 and 1986. These numbers are staggering and alarming. The fact that this monster has gotten away after all of these years is unfair and unacceptable. Thankfully, a wide net is being cast in an effort to identify this individual. A task force covering several areas of California from Sacramento to Irvine is hunting down this maniac. But they need our help. They need tips, they need names, they need leads. Somebody out there knows this person. And in addition to law enforcement searching for this individual, the media has also become highly interested in this case and as a result, there are several forthcoming television shows and documentaries in the works. These include a People Investigates special on Investigation Discovery Network, and an accompanying People Magazine article due out this week.

With all of the new coverage and interest in this case, this will undoubtedly drive many people not familiar with the case to seek information on it via the internet. While that’s a good thing, it also has a downside. Many websites and sources provide inaccurate, misleading, or incorrect information. And many of these sources are simply out to push their own agenda. This leads to a question; where is somebody trying to learn more about this case supposed to turn to for complete, accurate, and honest information? Luckily, I have the answer.
